ENERGY BERRY SMOOTHIE BOWL
So I jumped on the smoothie bowl wagon—I know, basic.
But I've been trying to up my cooking game because I'm not the best cook, so I started with something super easy.
I had my first acai bowl a few years before the hype and fell in love. Seriously, it was so good and healthy, but now it's the cool thing to eat (and photograph for Instagram).
So here is my version:
- 1 cup of frozen strawberries
- handful of spinach
- 2tsp of Matcha powder
- handful of fresh berries of your choice
- 1/2tsp of bee pollen granules
- 1/3 cup of vanilla almond milk
- 1 tbsp of honey
- toppings of your choice
Combine and blend all the berries, milk and spinach. Once those are blended I added the Matcha, bee pollen and honey. (It's up to you to decide the consistency, but I like my smoothie bowl a little bit thicker.)
Once all mixed and blended to your preference, then add your toppings. I topped mine with fresh berries, some mixed nuts, a little drizzle of honey and some bee pollen granules.
Healthy and yummy—I mean it can't get better than this!
