Gabrielle's work

Trained in ballet, tap, jazz, modern and ballroom, I quickly found that dance gave me more than anything else I had experienced. It was beyond expression and the intricate technique and steps, it was about the characteristics I possessed from the dedication and time I put into my craft that taught me I can do whatever I put my mind to. After being asked to train professionally with Dayton Ballet professional ballet company at age 17,  I knew that it was possible to make a career in the dance world. After professionally dancing, I refocused my love for dance and transitioned into teaching and choreographing. Now, co-director of Dayton Ballet II pre-professional ballet company, and a freelance dance teacher, I have an even bigger passion to give back to young dancers—the ones who hope to make it a career and the ones who just enjoy dancing.
